Shoes, shoes, shoes!!

I don’t know what it is about shoes, but there is just something about a strappy sandal or a sexy stilletto that sets my heart all aflutter, makes my pulse race and gives me an uncontrollable urge to put a little more mileage on my credit card.  If I happen to see a shoe sale, I can absolutely…

Love this post, Victoria! It’s fun to see how brides show off a bit of their personalities with their shoes!

As for you and your love of shoes…do you like them so much because they help conceal your three toes?

Stephanie & Serge’s Mini-Studio Slideshow

On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Stephanie & Serge’s wedding at the enchanting Cabane à Sucre Lalande.  The couple lives in Victoria, but decided to have their wedding in Montreal because most of their family is from here.  Living on opposite ends of the country means that Stephanie & Serge don’t see their…

Melissa & Tim @ Tadja Hall

From the very first time I spoke with Melissa, we hit it off.  It was as though we were old friends.  Maybe that’s because Melissa is a close friend of MY friend Elisa, so I had heard so many stories about their adventures that I DID feel like I already knew Melissa… and Bonnie (the Maid of…

So adorable! I love that dress and it’s so cute to see the little ones getting their lips done! Nice job!

Wow, what a small world! It’s good that you remembered who “that Tim” was. Your photos do a great job of capturing the connection between them and the love they share, both for each other and for their family and friends. Congratulations to the bride and groom!

Melissa - May 29, 2011 - 1:01 pm

Absolutely beautiful photos! You really captured the emotion of the day! I love that there are so many fabulous shots of all the guests as well!

Elisa - May 29, 2011 - 10:06 am

Victoria, these photos are incredible, you really captured an amazing day. It made me feel as though I was re-living such a memorable occasion.

Having said that, I must add that the photo of the Maid of Honor, Bonnie, helping Mel with her shoe made me laugh out loud. Bonnie’s face says it all: “I’ll do this for her, but does she realize I have three kids? How many more shoes am I going to have to put on other people’s feeet?” At least she’s a pro!

In all seriousness, you were amazing that day. Although I know you as a friend, on Mel & Tim’s “big day” I was able to see you as a photographer first. From all the comments I have heard that day and since, you really blew people away with your incredible ability to make people feel at ease, your enthusiasm, and your professionalism. And now, now they get to be blown away by your work. Bravo.

Diane et Gérald - May 29, 2011 - 6:44 am

Melissa & Tim’s Mini-Studio Slideshow

Melissa and Tim wanted their guests to have something fun to do during cocktail hour (besides drinking!), so my ever-trusty second shooter Stephane Brazeau set up a mini-studio with lots of props for people to fish through… here are the results!
